Early Mage AA'sFollow

The last couple days, I got my mage up to level 65 and found out that I can fairly well tear up the yellow and red cons in Splitpaw using my mercenary cleric. So I've started collecting AA's in there (one every 2-3 kills) and really had nothing spent to start (18 AA's, mainly between Run Speed 3 and Spell Casting Fury). I've since put a few ranks into Spellcasting Subtlety and bought Secondary Forte which probably wasn't really necessary but whatever. Any ideas for a direction to go from here? I'm mainly interested in finding out of there's some good quality-of-life style AA's I'll want to jump on; things that make bigger booms are pretty obvious. With all the new AA's and some of them being renamed, it's a little confusing to look at the list and grasp what's what and what's attainable at my level.

My Mage just turned 59, but these are the AA's I have and am working on along with their cost. The asterix at the beginning of the line indicates AA's I have completed. The one at the end indicates I have verified the exact cost. I have discrepancies in other chars so I started doing this.

Here is the list I usually go by, with some variations by class and need for utility that aren't listed: https://forums.station.sony.com/eq/index.php?posts/5623/

Are the elemental forms useful? They sounded sort of novelty from their description, especially given modern equipment (aside perhaps from fire).

I put em that way. It's like many of the utility ones, you get the effects with almost all gear any more, just may have wait a few levels, but the EB AA isn't until 75 I think when you can max it out and make it the same as EB effect. That's pretty much how I evaluate the elemental forms any more, but it seems like one of them was still viable, the rest just for people that love illusions.

KEC seems to buy everything pretty much. Not a bad idea, I just put off the novelty, less useful stuff until I don't have any thing else to buy, and the less effective stuff until I've gotten all the good, highly effective stuff. But that's me.

See the spell details of the effects on these page for the Elemental Forms:
Air = +All Resists, Levitate, See Invis
Earth = +Sta, +Max HPs
Fire = +DS, +Fire Resist, +Effective Casting Level
Water = +EB, +Mana Regen, +Sta Loss is nothing now, since Sta was changed to Endurance

Yeah, Fire seemed to have the only really unique effect. I can live with clicking my Peggy cloak or summoning a water stone for now if I need to float or breathe underwater.

Thanks for the direction. I went from 18 AA to nearly 100 AA over the weekend and plugged most into Spell Casting [-Aggro/+Dmg/-Mana Cost] and enhancing the pet's HP/AC/Dmg. Figured those had the best immediate return for killin' more stuff and gettin' more AA.

Also took the time to level to 66 in Splitpaw and am glad I did since the focused 66 pet is a beast compared to the previous tier and requires much less healing from the cleric merc.
