Win 8 & EQFollow

From what I have heard, that error message (0xc000007b) is usually related to video card drivers or a conflict between a 32bit application on a 64 bit system or vice versa.

You could d/load the d3dx9_30.dll file alone (available free at Microsoft or dll-files.com) and move it to the EQ folder. As some newer versions of DX do not have this older file included (It is neccesary for EQ to enable the video card to the game).

But when that dll file is missing the error message is entirely different to what you are experiencing.

i.e. "The application failed to start because d3dx9_30.dll was not found."
