Two separate announcements (the studio is not tied to the new expansion)

I agree. VoA just seemed boring to me, but this could be good.

These new programs needed to create objects sure are not inexpensive? Maya for instance is $2k+

You've probably already researched this by now, but of the programs they recommend, I noticed a couple of free ones: Wings3D for modeling and GIMP for texturing.

It would be pretty cool to see you make furniture/decoration for your own house, Vinney.
