Tier 2 QuestionFollow

Hey there.

I have a silly question. Does anyone know the name of tier 2 non-visible VoA gear (for casters -- or anything that's ALL/ALL)? I can't find any info on the site. Wanted to know which npc sells them.. or what mob drops any? Thanks!

Veil of Alaris Armor Guide




Poofie's short version:

Creating VoA quest armor is almost exactly like doing the HoT quest armor.

You either do the tier progression armor, tier 1 up to tier 4, in order. That means farming the T1 drops in Argath, then T2 drops in Lunanyn or Sarith, then T3 and T4 in the higher zones.

Or you "leap-frog" tiers and get a Tier 2-4 drop, then use a "template" to fill in for a missing previous tier armor piece.

The templates are bought from vendors in Argath, and it costs less than it used to in HoT to do the combines without the previous tier level of armor.

Templates (used for Tiers 2-4 if you don't have the previous Tier piece)




Plain Unadorned (T2) templates: Bought from Yaun (about 10,500pp)
Detailed Unadorned (T3) templates: Bought from Kelur (about 13,125pp)
Sophisticated Unadorned (T4) templates: Bought from Kelur (about 15,750pp)
So, an example for making Tier 2 armor would be:

In a Reliquary of Refinement, combine:

Formal Wristwraps + Tier 1 Armor piece
-or-
Formal Wristwraps + Class-Specific Adorning Agent + Plain Unadorned Template


Comparing Armor - Group Stats

Tier 1 Group = Rustic Armor of _____ = 1340-1485 hp/mana range (like Amorphous, T3 HoT Armor)
Tier 2 Group = Formal Armor of _____ = 1550-1675 hp/mana range (like Lucid, T4 HoT Armor)
Tier 3 Group = Embellished Armor of _____ = 1650-1770 hp/mana range
Tier 4 Group = Grandiose Armor of _____ = 1900-2080 hp/mana range



Also, there are no Alaran language requirements for producing Tier 1 and Tier 2 armor.

But, there is some unknown as of yet Alaran requirement for producing Tier 3 and Tier 4 armor.

There are no Alaran language requirements for producing Tier 1 and Tier 2 armor.

Appropriate Slot Wraps + Class-Specific Adorning Agent + Appropriate Osmium or Fantastic Template (these are player made)



Tier 2
In a Reliquary of Refinement, combine:

Wraps + Tier 1 Armor piece

Tier 3
In a Reliquary of Refinement, combine:
