Barely touched EQ (or computer) lately.

Did login Sunday and grind out some more faction in Dranik's scar. I'm still amiable...

Almost got in a really bad car accident today. Person at stop sign decided to cross 80km/hr county road ahead of oncoming me. Standing on the breaks I missed them by maybe 2 metres (6 feet). Their front and rear passengers would have been killed... Not sure I would have done much better. They were in a little black bmwish four door I was in an F150 with several hundred pounds of steel in the back. Luckily I had my brakes done a few weeks ago so they were like new for stopping distance.

I'm just glad to be typing at this point.

I had the opportunity to play last weekend but not since. I enjoyed the AA XP boost with my necro, easily gaining 40+ in the hourish I played. Hopefully can get on again after the move this weekend to finish out those AA's I have been wanting on all my toons.

Hoping this heat breaks though and we get some rain. I have enjoyed not mowing the yard but I do not enjoy it being brown. I guess I cannot have both.

Snail;
So glad you are ok...super scary stuff.

I played my 61 cleric and 61 Druid in Veksar. I was getting about an Aa per 5 kills. And those two together were absolutely wrecking it. With the cleric tanking, it was amazing.

Other than that, not alot of EQ happening. Been playing Vanguard...Smiley: sly

Snailish I'm glad you're ok and able to post as well. I myself have seen too many crazy drivers the past few weeks. I was thinking it was just the holiday, but now I'm convinced its the heatwave affecting a majority of the population.

I myself haven't been on EQ in a few weeks. Not sure where my last update was so I'll try to type what I remember:

July 3rd - Burned my hand trying to light 10 sparklers at one time (I did achieve my goal there)
4th - Went out with friends and watched the towns display, had a single drink. Strawberry Smoothy Wine (dont recall the brand)...is very good.

July 8th to the 9th - Celebrated my one year 'dating' anniversary. It doesn't even feel like its been a year, and at the same time it feels like we've known each other for lifetimes. Smiley: thumbsup

July 11 - Purchased Diablo 3 .... ending my social life!!

Things I sometimes play...

"What do you want to be when you grow up?"
"I want to be a unicorn!"
"Awww, why's that?"........
"So I can stab people with my face."

Friday, Sat, Sunday, working in 90 degree plus weather on the ship. I did get a few hours each day in AC. Only had to work 5 and 6 hours Friday and Saturday.

I have been rotating all the toons i play thru the Bloody Kith task scourge of supply to earn aas then killing the animals for exp. About to ding 74 on Fenogre and Jonwin, 71 on Primrosex (elne clare's original toon in EQ.) Courtin is near 80 and Jonwinnie dinged 78 on a 7 hour grind on Tuesday in Veraglid mines. I ran Adeste the ranger to chardok planning on camping Anklesmasher for Jonwin. I bought one for 50k, and still took the ranger. For some reason I could not go to wolf form inside to use the dispell illusion trick to get past locked doors. Not sure which spell was blocking it, so I ran back to the bank, got the elf ears from long ago and used that illusion to get past the first locked door. Popped in and out of the library for 3 days, about 20 kills before the club dropped. Now I have an extra...

How are things in FV working out. Still thinking of moving a toon or two over...Though I have had some good groups on Povar, maybe i just need to look at a different guild.

@snailish: Once upon a time, in a galaxy far, far away, I drove country roads for a long period of time, you know the ones, straight as a die to the horizon. It was an endless source of fascination for me, that you could see them sitting there on a side road intersection, and sitting, and sitting, UNTIL YOU GOT THERE, then they went. It quickly got so I would just automatically slow down and wait for the event, it seemed almost bizarre at times, this can't be a conspiracy, right? No, it has to be some odd hypnotic state of mind, like rabbits in the headlights or something. Or maybe "Now, daddy sez I am suppose' to sit here and count to 20, then go..." I thought I would be OK when I settled in the big city, but NO! the same thing with the exits of drive through restaurants and supermarkets. Awesum. Or maybe I'm just invisible?

Hey, old timer, glad you're still with us!!

keep on trucking...
