So I am a old player and am thinking of comeing back I have not played in 4 or 5 years was wondering if there is a way to see if the people I played with back in the day still play or if there is a way to contact them I played on xev as shenhua not shenhuaone-shenhuasix that person was part of why I quit playing so if any one remibers me or knows how I can find my old friends let me know

You could try the same post in the "veterans" section of the official EQ boards that Sony hosts.
If you remember names or guild tags you could try searching on EQ players (no guarantee it is up or working... I kind of gave up on it a while ago... it's possibly not even active and I wouldn't know). If you had a friend with a really odd name and they don't show up on Xev it is possible they transferred somewhere else. You'd really only have a good lead there if they were truly unique (some of my character names only exist on servers as me... others I am only that name on one server and lots of others have the same handle).

Note: you can change your own name relatively cheaply through marketplace now (if association with another player was still an issue).
