I am having a blast on Vox server.

My druid is now 55 with a few AA (maybe 16 spent?). I went for extended buffs first. Way nicer for buffing lower players with (DS goes from 15 min to 21 min alone...). I spent a fair bit of time buffing in Crescent Reach, Blightfire and even popped into Crushbone. As a loyal wood elf it was fun to do my part. It was also cool to have 12ish people xp-ing in Crushbone.

I'm holding at 55 for a bit. Once upon a time this was the awful level range for me (51-65) but now I relish it. Stopping is allowing me to catch up on my gear, spells and plat for the merc. I'll get some solid AA down before going to 59. I'd never got a druid past level 20ish before --it's a very cool class, at least at the time being.

Well, I've been playing around with housing for the most part. I bought up 6/7th of one Terminus, and set my free 1-room huts up. I couldn't find an entire Terminus neighborhood free, so I sacrificed the lake house and took the Terminus Heights property instead. The guy with the lake house will be amazed his empty neighborhood is now fully populated.

Houses aside, I've been solo AAing in Grieg's, which still amazes me how casual and quick picking up AAs can be. Since I was there anyway, I added a boxed Silver account, not at all because I needed a second, but more because I figured may as well level up another old character. I'm terrible at boxing so really I'm not - the second character just follows me and levels over and over again. I'd guestimate that in the time I've done 75AAs, box cleric went from 52 to 62. I genuinely regret creating that character as a cleric now (was 6 years ago - I used it briefly in Droga before quitting after hating boxing to surivive). Any other class would have been more fun - druid or shaman stand out in particular. I'm still amazed at the difficulty of moving a class that has no tools to avoid or cancel mistakes. No invis, no pet, no feign death, no evac, nothing but a good res for every mistake. More like a ball and chain dragging the rest of the party back. I'm tempted to level up that account's bard instead, since it would work much better with my hands off boxing premise. Just set a melody and forget it.

Anyway, having fun with the game, enjoying the new (to me) features of past expansions I never bought, and hoping that some of the upsurge in players sticks around.

Been juggling TOR (which my girlfriend bought me a few days ago) and EQ... mainly just logging into EQ long enough to pop Lesson and grind out AAs on my Ranger. The hotzone tasks are also REALLY nice for xp, so I've gone from something like 60 AAs to 105 in a couple of days. Finished out my Archery Mastery AAs and working on Critical spell ones

Went to level 88 this weekend, I am going to gather some aa now. I am a bit stuck on the SOD progression I only have the oceangreen level finished which only gives me access to void b I believe. I keep failing on the escort chore...i read someone's comment about it being like 'herding cats'.
I think i now know what that is like. ;-)

Still camping Seru over here, I've killed him twice now, to get his fabled sword, and nada... its starting to really drain me, I've put a petition in... but the GMs are saying that since it isn't guaranteed, that its no dice.

I did make 82 last night, and also got about 50 aas, thinking I should get from 1101 up to 1500 before I level some more... But still not 100% sure.

No EQ for me this weekend. Played golf and did yard work all day Saturday and Sunday I went to a beer social to support a good friend for winning beer drinker of the year (It's not what you think, it's more about promoting craft beer than how you drank in college).

Snailish is the Vox server pretty populated? I enjoy my toons but am looking to shake things up and start fresh. Wouldn't mind having my account FTP for a while either until I needed more.

Friday night I logged on my 81 monk and was lucky enough to get into a PU 11th anniversary raid. Got my aug and only died 4 or 5 times! Not bad considering I'm wearing gear from 3 years ago still. I ended up knowing someone in the guild that was hosting the PU and got an invite to the guild. Yay me. Now I need to figure out my gear and get my bags straight...ugh.

Saturday me and my 10 year old made new characters and did the tutorial. I think we both ended up around lvl 10. He rolled a Wizard and I rolled a BL. Was a pretty good time. Hopefully he stays interested, but so far he still likes EQ2 better. Everything is a bit easier there. He was not happy to learn that he would have to retrieve his gear after death or buy a summoning stone, and not happy about losing exp =)

Sunday I dusted off my 67 warrior tried to kill some things in The Steppes with a merc and was failing horribly. I didn't notice that the Fabled pet weapon I had gotten him years earlier had the req level changed on it so I was basically fighting one handed..... Went to the bazaar updated a couple pieces of his gear and headed to the hole. Got halfway down and realized I was sitting at 293/294 on my weight, gated back to sell and ran back to the hole only to realize my buffs were wearing off. LOL. So much to remember.

Vox server during my (EST) prime time:

-numerous in tutorial (first few days you were locked out at times as the zone was full).
-Crescent reach hasn't had less than 25, has often been 70+
-Blightfire I haven't seen under 50
-Mesa varies 30-70
-Blackfeather has been 30ish usually, there was 50+ in there today.
-I've skipped into some old zones and had them be empty, yet crushbone had 12 in it the other night and I was the only one it was grey-con too.

The population is going to spread out soon. Whether it dies out will be interesting to see as the F2P masses get past 70 and start to feel the pinch on gear/spells and such.

TLP was this busy before Kunark, but I don't get that vibe there any more (vulak that is).
