All of the EverQuest servers (except for Antonius Bayle) were taken down at 12:00 AM Pacific* on Tuesday, March 6, 2012. The servers are being moved to a new location and having all of their hardware upgraded. This downtime has unfortunately taken a little longer then planned. The new estimated time for completion and reopening of the servers for play is 12:00 AM PST March 7, 2012.

We apologize for this interruption and will keep you informed if this information changes.

Oh well, I guess I will load up the Test Server tonight. I have been wanting to try a couple different classes and with /testbuff I can get a decent feel for them.

Did I miss something? When did the word "than" go out of usage to be replaced by "then"?

Get the servers up, then we can play rather than moan and groan.

You picked a winner, this is the longest downtime by far in recent memory. Kudos to everyone taking it in good humor though, the raging of some folks out there is eye rollingly comedic.

No need to rage about downtime really...I've been through the "Great EQ2 Downtime" "The Great Rift Downtime" and one for EQ sometime before I quit 5+ years ago...downtime is to be expected, and at least this game is still around, poor EQOA...
