My trader got more action in EQ this weekend than anything else. I'm selling a fair pile of late 50's-early 60's spells --probably because I price to lowest of the baz asking price ranges and/or am the only one selling most of them. It's not lucrative though, or other people would be farming/researching them. I'm just not at the stage where I can farm the items that sell for 10k, 100k or a million on this server.

What my sales do show however is that there is a fair pile of people levelling up in that range, which is good. One thing I don't sell to players is chanter spells... those sit on my vendor for ages.

Anyways, in game I managed to burn 1.5 lessons and buy a few more AA abilities. The necro is now 75 with 1200+ AA. I'm ready for 80 but waiting a bit longer for my brother to catch up.

On Friday night,
I rested my Necro main and grinded aas on my Sk with my Shammy and Berserker alt in OBF, which has poor xp per kill, hoping for some purity augs as I already got the Ac augs on them all (got one purity aug in 3 hrs). I was also hoping for the elusive damage aug to drop..no luck there though. I've yet to see the damage aug in all my times spent in the zone.

On Sunday two recently returned friends and my SK/Shammy went to the hotzone, Korascian Warrens again to try and finish their solo tasks for their J5 Mercs. But no luck ... The very mobs we needed (in room with Prime) were cleared by an xp group twice in a rowSmiley: disappointed

We'll have to go during later hours but one of my friends cant play late at night (his wifes rules he says.. lol).

After wasting about an hour in Korascian Warrens, we went to Feerott the Dream, and xp'd for a few hours.

Restarted 2 of my accounts and upgraded them to the lastest expansion. Knowing that I was going to box, I took my shaman and monk to Blackfeather for a little power leveling since it was a hot zone. There were quite a few people there so I ended up going to PoI to level the monk. After a few hours and a couple potions I got from 52 to 57. Was hoping to take him to BoT last night but the kids wore me out from playing all day so I went to bed pretty early.

I have realized that after our second child was born that I cannot stay up until 2-3 a.m. anymore to play video games. Even though I am sure I will once in a while.

Feels good to be back and know I will not have as much time to play but EQ still feels like home compared to other games I have played.

Played a bit, but kind of stuck between places right now, looking for a good place to level. Still trying to find something. Not so much luck (level 57 shaman on Vulak.) PoP opened today, so that may provide some alternatives.

Pulled out my cleric/warrior combo and played them a bit. Gained a level 25/26.

Raided in ToV yesterday. Was fun. We didn't hit a named, but we did get several pieces of armor. Mostly plate though. It was fun. Only wiped once, though I got killed from a respawn behind us. Need more clerics!!!

So true..One thing thats nice for returning players who get aquainted with the many subtle(and not so subtle) changes made over the years is that you can now get a lot done in a lot less time than before. This is especially true if you have a regular group or box.

Over the years my habits changed from 5-6 days a week (5 hour + sessions) to 4-5 days a week(1-2 hour sessions) unless doing questing/progression, and I get more done.

Sometimes I feel that the game changed to accomodate us older folk which is fine by me once the integrity of the game is kept...So far with arguably few exceptions, this integrity has been maintained imho.

After last weekend's headshotting lizard crusade, I didn't do much of that this week; here and there but only like 60 aa's worth, and no lesson burns on it, lol.

I did some more aug camps, mainly Breath of Ryken in Argath, but after only killing him twice with no aug drop, a guildie was giving two of them away. I didn't realize they were tradable. So thanks to a guildie, another aug is checked off the list.

Now I'm working on the Gnomish Rockomancer in Lichen Creep. It's nice being able to go back to UF zones and pretty much own the camps. I was only there for an hour, so I only saw him once so far.

So far so good with my aug camps, though.

Oh and I finished my T2 raid gear. I won a belt at raids, and bought my 2nd ring with my raid currency. I'm now fully T2 geared, so now I can concentrate on filling my rk3 spells.
