Yes it is alot of work. Even if you set it up how I said in the previous post, of
/pause 3,/bandolier Activate Drums
/pause 3,/cast 1
/pause 3,/cast 1
for a percussion song and
/pause 3,/bandolier Activate Strings
/pause 3,/cast 2
/pause 3,/cast 2
for a string song, you'll still be pressing alot of keys. That's why I said, just keep the primary instrument while fighting (although I wasn't real clear as I was in a hurry on that post), and ignore other instruments, until you get more equipment with mods. Once you get mods for everything, I just use instruments again for the primary one, as usually the instruments have a better mod than any of my armor or jewelry.
Your epics 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 all have an all instrument mod, so as long as you have one of them equipped, you'll always be getting a mod on everything. /Melody is great, but doesn't support what you want with auto instrument swapping. :(
Before melody and bandolier, Bards were the busiest toon to play. Many bards really impressed me back in the day, being able to chain pull, cycle 4 or 5 songs, and chat (wtf, how do you type when you're pressing keys or clicking the mouse constantly?). :)
Hope this helps,
Yther Ore.
