Friday: Holiday for us Canadians. Managed my longest EQ session in ages. Iksar Warrior got a few levels (6 & 7) in Lake of Ill Omen with the aid of drive by buffs (so much faster!) then headed back to Field of Bone after visiting vendors in Cabilis.
FoB worked out well as I ended up in a group that was mowing down the centre area. Moved into Kurn's Tower entrance and a short while later the annoying Badger-basement. Finished the session at level 16, making the warrior my 2nd highest character on TLP by a wide margin.
Saturday: Read "The Queen of Attolia" and "The King of Attolia", and saw Stompin' Tom Connors in concert... that was funny.
Sunday: Family stuff, saw Tranformers: Dark Side of the Moon. Didn't hear any Pink Floyd in the movie but may have missed it. Better than the 2nd movie... for what that is worth.
Monday: heading to work the summer job. Happy Holiday to all you American Alla folk.

It was a fun weekend.
Started playing my ranger again. Got into a fun group in Crushbone and got him a few levels. I think that was Saturday, but I'm not sure. LOL. Anyway, I got all but one of the Wood Elf Ranger Newbie quests done.
Then I figured that a good companion for my level 11 ranger was a dwarf cleric. So I rolled one of them and started levelling him up. With the ranger's help, he got a lot of the drops for the newbie armor as well. That's when I found out that they came with a recommended level of 10 (and on a level 2 toon, it was quite dramatic.) But he's level 7 now, so the drop off isn't so dramatic. Just need the tongues and a coinpurse to finish up.
Attempted to run said level 7 cleric to Field of Bone, hoping for some better hunting grounds with more people around. Getting through Firiona Vie was a chore, and it took me 5 times to make it. Now to run the ranger there to join him.
All-in-all, a fun weekend.

No eq. Not even having all of Saturday off helped.
Friday I worked on the ship, hot outside, came home to fix dinner, then played warlords IV and watched one of the episodes from the TUDORS season 3.
Saturday Played warlords, did some cleaning of house, went shopping with elne. Took her to her jewelery store to get some tools to continue making stuff. Had the middle girl call to ask if we had cash on hand. Seems her bank closed early due to the 4th weekend. She wrote a check out, had some food and then went out clubbing. She also talked her mom into going to the Chesapeake Pagan Community gathering up at Camp Ramblewood.
Sunday Work on the ship, home to some more warlords, dinner of left overs. Watched a little bit of Pygmalion on tv and another two tudor episodes.
Monday Work on the ship for the 4th. Got off at 6 PM and stayed down on board for our catered picnic event and the fireworks show. Enjoyed the free beer and food. Waited in traffic for 23 min which was not too bad. Heard this am one man stabbed to death 5 piers over, and on block away a 4 year old boy was shot in the leg.

Your job usually an area of this kind of stuff?
Snailish, Work downtown inner harbor, a big tourist area. Not usually a place for violence but its a big city so not unknown. The boy is doing well, a small caliber round probably fired off into the air and falling hit him. The stabbing death was due to an argument getting to violent. The victim appears to have gone back to engage the person who stabbed him.'
