Armour Screenshots (DE)?Follow

#1 Jun 19 2011 at 3:40 AM Rating: Decent
I am looking for some clean/clear screenshots of Dark Elves in various plate sets - in particular for warriors and clerics. Google image hasnt been that helpful. Anyone know of a repository of the various armor sets - especially up to Velious?

Or is there something like WoWViewer for EQ? WOWViewer is a small program that lets you view WOW character models with different in game items.

Thanks in advance.

Search the armor here on alla:

Teir'Dal Adamantite

Bronze Breastplate

Crustacean Shell Breastplate

Shardtooth's Flayed Skin

Netted Kelp Tunic

Blood Weave Tunic

I picked a few that have Dark Elf screenshots. There's lots more to be found.

Some of the older armor has a lot of pictures because once upon a time some people pursued gear for the appearance as the stat differences were easily made up on other slots. Armor dye killed that in general (something the devs probably regret now as having 10 sets of the same ranger armor in an expansion with different tints would have been easy itemization... but I digress).

there are also wiki articles about armour looks

and once upon a time before the look of this site was changed by ZAM, there used to be a very helpful link to a whole lot of armor screenshots. This covered the look of armor for various classes and races, was always very useful for the roleplayers.

Unfortunately when the site got its new look, that bit of info was left out, and I for one wish they'd bring it back

EDIT: also if in baz you see an item, or anywhere else if someone links it and ALT left click it, it shows you what it looks like equipped, it works for weapons, shields and placable items not sure if it works for armor. Off to test that

Perfect! Thank you. I was searching but saw the individual list of items and it didn't occur to me there would be full set pics under the links as I was looking for "set of..." etc.

Its been a while but my wife's cleric had a full set of some kind of cleric armour, may have been equivalent to the old crafted, but it was for clerics only and was golden/yellow. Anyone know what this armour was?

Thanks.

I couldn't remember if what Renaissance said was accurate or not, but as he hasn't edited / replied that it isn't, then you could use the /barter command in the bazaar to look up any trade-able items on most servers (if I remember correctly, it's any non-No Trade item that has been discovered on that server). Last I was on Trakanon, the command still did not work correctly on searches, but I'd hope it would have been fixed by now (5+ months).
