Work (boo) and family/friend stuff (yay) kept me away from EQ until late Sunday.
I rolled an alt on TLP. I decided to go high-elf wizard (male) as I have never played a high elf, nor a wizard past about level 12. I've also never played a "good" aligned character to any signficance --though I went agnostic and didn't turn in my newbie note so there is potential that the Wizard is leaning to the dark side already...
My thinking is that if necro on TLP isn't compelling me to play more (and Kunark may not help with that) maybe I should try (and possibly should have in the first place) something new. While I didn't log on to FV at all to help my brother in the past week... I have been playing necro there when he needs me.
I'm also considering some Iksar options. Warrior and Shaman have also hardly been played by me and I can't see Vulak holding out more than one poll (if that) to open Kunark.
Back to Sunday night though, Aside from a great conversation with Jonwin (hooray, I actually logged on when he was on!) I got very little done in over an hour of killing in GFaY --I'm 44% of the way to level 2. The 2% per kill is a bit of a drag at the early levels, but I don't want to see it changed either. It's a unique flavor to TLP for sure.
