Is there a way copy the filter settings between toons?
In fact ANY of the chat settings?

I have 3 chat windows set up and filter different things into each one.
Each has a non default "name."

I did /copylayout but it only copied the layout.
It did not copy any of the chat window settings such as name, filters, or anything else, for that matter.

Thanks in advance.

I tried searching here and the web for a solution, but came up empty handed.

You have to manually do it. Open UI_charactername_server.INI file in your base EQ directory. Search for [ChatManager]. Copy everything from [ChatManager] to the next [ ... ] section and replace the other destination files [ChatManager] section with the one you copied.

Before doing this you may need to log in the new toons and make the new chat windows and rename similar, but from memory, I think they will come up the same if you have already copied the layout. Doing the previous paragraph simply fixes the filtering applied to each window.

OK - good.
That's what I will do.

What I did was copy both the complete files over.
That "works," but you also get stuff you don't want like hot-bar contents.
