Prelude: busy season at work for me so hardly playing EQ atm.

Friday: logged FV trader in. Hadn't really played at all this week (ducked into Vulak a few times, but I play earlier than most). Got together with some old friends and played poker. They insist on playing for money (whatever) and I came out ahead.

Saturday: Work most of the day. Visited my sister and her family, they introduced me to a board game called Catan (or something like that... analog civilization if you will) which was pretty cool.

Sunday: Finished up work in the afternoon. After dinner checked on the FV trader. Didn't make much money, but it turned out to be enough. I logged my FV necro in and went up to Plane of Sky via the tranquility npc (not guilded on FV, really just helping my brother out with his bard there). Short version of the story is I got my 2nd and 3rd island drops for his bard epic and my necro epic.

This left my necro needing 1 item to finish her 1.0 (something I never thought I would do) so on a whim I look up the black silk cape in baz... turns out it is not nodrop on FV (which is funny since several epic 1.0 drops that are tradable on regular servers are not tradable on FV). I was pretty excited because getting this item off the deathtoucher on island 4 was looking to be a huge stumbling block for my playstyle.

After vendor selling most of my mules stock and my necros potions I had the 10k (I know... that's not a large amount, I'm not playing enough to have a bankroll Lol) needed to buy the cape.

So a little over an hour of running around in game later (back and forth between npc) my necro has her 1.0 duckstick :)

All in all, last week was one of my least-played but most productive runs in EQ ever.

I've been purging the streets of Damascus, Jerusalem and Acre of those vile Templar scum lately (Robert, you're next!!), so that's cutting into my EQ time.

Anyway, not too much in game. Sat I killed some things in Unrest with my warrior. Thank you to the people who came buy and threw some buffs on me.

Sunday, I ran my shaman to Lavastorm (from North Karana, ugh.) Found a place to set up and kill the swirling smoke, which are yellow to me and don't add or aggro anything else around. Finally a place I could set up and just pull for a while. I should hit 29 later today. I'll keep pulling a while there (maybe move on to the spiders in a bit.)

Don't think I played on Friday.

Working long hours on the ship this weekend didnt leave me much time for gaming.
My warrior is now level 6 gaining 2 levels in an awesome kill group at orc hill. I have the bronze drops to make some of my newbie armor but the sapling drops are missing.

Played a bit with the cleric solo in Kith forrest. Ran the ranger around tracking the saplings for the warrior box.

Things going slow in guild Seekers of Stars. Work hours and weeks off have hurt our leveling and grouping together.

yeah, I've been pretty absent. Work does't let up for a while yet for me though.

Put my new bike in the shop for it's thousand mile checkup and service.

Rain predicted for this weekend, will be a good time to play the eggheads.

Settlers of Catan. I've never played but, coincidentally, there's an article about its growing popularity on The Atlantic today.

Friday night After Hours beat Masked Invaders. Very smooth run, boring as heck for us kiters, though ;p

Saturday night we beat Beast again. I love being ramp tank, lets me slack and miss most of the emotes, LOL.

Sunday night helped a bud with HoT flagging on his alt.

Nothing exciting, but a productive weekend.
