Actually "https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=94965" is also a placeable item. See the item lore "A mostly harmless creature for your home" or see one of the houses on Rathe, they have 5 of these in their yard (and yes I contacted them via eqmail and so far no reply), and no it's unfortunately not a store item.

A "bat on a string' is not placeable according to the item description, I already have one. THe other station store placable bat item is a box of bats https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=92490

thanks anyways for your help, I'm just looking for bats and bat items for house :)

Looking at this thread here http://forums.station.sony.com/eq/posts/list.m?topic_id=170930 it seems like it may have been a reward for last years group Halloween mission.

edit: it is the last post that mentions the vampire bat itself.
