Players with an active house will be credited one month of upkeep costs and the inactive period will be extended from 90 to 150 days (as posted on 5/11/11).

I'm wondering what SoE means when they say that the inactive period will be extended; what do they mean by inactive period?

After the inactive period you would lose your plot - but not the house or contents.

This was to prevent people just buying up all the plots in a neighbourhood and then not doing anything with them.
