Increase Wife Faction Quest


Step 1: Con Wife, if she is indifferent or better proceed to Step 2. If Wife is less than indifferent or aggressive, see Pre-Quest: Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend.

Step 2: Approach Wife without weapons or armor and Hail her.
“Hail Wife.”
“The car is still not fixed and the [grass] needs shaving.”
“What grass?”
-You have taken 10 points of direct damage.
“What do you mean, what grass? All that green stuff outside."
-You have been given Lawn Mower Man quest.
-Your Wife Faction has increased.
-You have gained some experience.

Note: At this point Wife will walk away in a pissy mood. Do not approach or hail her a second time. Check your inventory for lawn mower. If you have not done this quest see the Lawn Mower Man Quest. Place Lawn Mower in ready hand and march around outside until you receive task complete.
-Your Wife Faction has increased.
-You have gained some experience.

Step 3: After grass has been shaven. Go back to Wife.
“Hail Wife.”
“It’s about time you cut the grass. What about the car? And when are we going to [dinner]?”
Note: Have Magic Resists and Poison Resists maxed. She will shrill loudly and possibly attack with venomous words.
“What dinner?”
“I can’t believe you forgot!”
Note: If wife does not walk away proceed with, “I’m Sorry,” however, if she turns away go back and repeat the quest Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend.
“Just get the [car] fixed.”
-You have gained some experience.
-You have been given Wagon Quest. A wrench has been placed in your inventory.

Note: She may attack.

Do Not Attack Back

Damage will be minimal. If you are a weak tank with few AA’s, have a cleric hidden behind the pantry wall. Wife is line of sight mob and will go berserk if she sees Cleric.
-You have received 230 points of direct damage
-Your Cleric Faction has decreased.
-A Wrench has been placed into your inventory.
Note: Place wrench in ready hand and turn bolts on wagon until task update.
-You have gained some experience. Your Wife Faction has increased.

Task update: Find wife at computer.
“Hail Wife.”
-You have taken 500 points of damage.
“I’m in the middle of a [raid]!”
“What raid?”
-You have been Harm Touched for 75,000 points of damage.
-You have lost some experience.
-Your Wife Faction has decreased.
-Your Cleric Faction has decreased.
-You have died.
-You have lost your level.
Freaking Newbie! You should know better than to bother someone in the middle of a raid.
