The EQ downtime provides a unique opportunity for the Dev team to radically patch I would think. An outside security team is doing the investigation/fix to my understanding so that leaves everyone else still at work.

From a public relations standpoint this would be a smart move. Coming back to a world event would be a nice carrot so to speak.

A bristlebane theme would be a nod to the current shenanigans stopping us all from playing...


What could/should they get done while they have us players out of the way?

In my opinion, they should prepare for when their forums go back up. I can only imagine how awful the complaints are going to be when it does come back up. =(

Heheheheh If Sony was smart-get the game up for a week THEN open the forums..:)

I personally dont want to dl a stupid patch after being out for this long. I want back in ASAP. Let us play awhile so our withdrawal symptoms diminish THEN give us a goodie!
