Hi,

The difference in tank mercenary strength between level 85 and level 90 is pretty noticeable. Are hard statistics available for mercenaries? HP/AC, etc. If not, how does a level 90 mercenary compare with a geared 90 magician pet as a main tank?

No one will be able to give any hard stats. Having said that, I use a 90 war merc with my shammy and can take on up to three t1 HoT trash mobs at once alone, SLOW kills, tons of heals, etc. Compare that to a solid 3k aa mage pet, and the merc tank is a joke. I healed a mage pet with merc healer in SS simulaneously tanking 2 named mobs and he stayed up with only a couple of 'oh, $hit' moments. My merc tank would have been a speed bump instead of back to back named drops.
