Notes from Seekers of Stars guild on Vulak.

I have two toons, Jonwain, a ranger and Segundo a DE cleric. Segundo is the leader of the guild.

Friday logging on I did some trade skill work. Worked on the ship for a few hours. Home again I was playing some CIV2 before logging back on as cleric.
A guild group started in CT with Healix and his boxed mage and wizard, Tali our guild enchantress, and Myself as a 30 cleric. Played and pulled for about 2 hours, got a ravenscale BP. Of course when room was repoping and all of us were LOM, the Avatar of Fear popped. Wizard was able to port out everyone but myself, as It was my death that made him notice the Avatar was around. Still I dinged 31 and made it 1/3 the way to 32. Tali dinged 32 and I believe Healix and company gained a level as well. No other main loot dropped. A thanks to player Necro who allowed us to come back to the Avatar camp left empty when the evac occurred.

Saturday after a 9.5 hour day on the ship, I came home, fixed some dinner for Elne Clare and myself and entered game. A guild group was formed, see the players from Friday and add in a 35 bard Milosera and a trip to Paw began. Steady 3 hours of pulling, but from our pull spot on the second bridge we were not able to get either of the named mobs that popped in that time. Only one evac was needed and no one died. I dinged 32 and then 33. Everyone else also leveled. Healix had bought a group exp pot and that helped. Tali was able to play with us for a short time before her real life movie night and husband faction work took her away.

Sunday 9.5 hours on the ship with 2 gun firings. Wore my wool jumper due to the chill in the air. I started out in game by moving bank items around and selling off the loot from Paw. One member had started a druid alt and was asking for an invite, so I logged on Jonwain for officer duties and to pick up gear from paw for him to use. After a port and run to Gfay I invited our new druid and a bard who read my guild announcement in chat. Spent the rest of the evening on the ranger, helping druid a bit and hitting level 11 twice. Others in guild formed a group and returned to Paw.

Friday my brother wanted company in Old Sebilis so I logged a character and joined him there. Hadn't been there in ages. Couldn't remember if there actually is a key for the door that locks you into the Jug/reet area or not. Spell drops seemed way more common then in memory. Was in the camp for maybe 4 spawn cycles, zone was empty. He's having a lot of fun playing there logging in a couple of times a week.

Logged in the TLP necro on Saturday and was chatting Milosera up a bit in guild chat while lfg in Ocean of Tears. I was on early and already the zone was full (45+ and all the higher islands supporting multilple groups). About 1/2 an hour of looking for group and swimming around so I logged.

I don't need Kunark so much for the levels, but for the content that I find interesting --I came to the game when LoY was new so "close to original no expac world" while on one hand has be refreshing as I have got to group in zones I have never bothered with before, but at the same time there is almost nothing I haven't done at some point that remains casually doable on TLP at the moment.

In Kunark I have enough factioning to keep me busy for weeks alone (debating going Sarnak for once...).

Family dinner and stuff on Sunday.

Busy weekend, so I didn't get a lot of time to play.

I got a few kills in on Saturday for double XP. On Sunday, my warrior dinged 11. Unrest probably wasn't the smartest place to go though. There were literally more trains than you can shake a stick at. I'd pull one beetle, get it down to about 30%, and then have to zone out becuase of a train. This happened at least 10 times while I was there (and I wasn't there long.)

You need a rouge to pick the locks to get into the pyramid.... otherwise post level 46( not sure on that ) its no key need to get into the zone.

I will always be sad that sarnaks were never introduced as a playable race. It is one of the coolest models and has great animations too. I can easily see Chardok as a player home city made even more interesting as other players attack it.

Still no EQ for me this week, and of course it's all down now. I suppose I could always log in my wife's WoW account for... well... something.

Always, did you get in on your eggs? Did you get a guild invite? While waiting for the problem to be solved, check out seekstars@guildportal.com and register, even if you don't have the guild tag yet.

Not sure what you are referring to with eggs, unless it is my eggheaded ogres, lol. Haven't been online in a couple days. But no guild invite. Next stop your new guild site ;-)
