This thread compelled me to start this one as I think "what you have done lately" is more pertinent. Just comparing Fippy vs. Vulak has been suspect so going 11 years back in the ether... I just don't see a lot of the recommendations matching up.

Also, solo xp is the snail race on TLP... a levelling guide infers you want to level efficiently. For TLP that means grouping for most (if not all).

Here's what I have personally done:

1-10 in Toxxula Forest. It was busy when I did this, now its dead so I would just head to Nektulos to group.

12ish I was doing orc camps in commons.

15ish I was doing various camps in Ro, crocs was great xp.

16ish Soloing south end of Lavastorm was alright for me, grouping probably a bit lower and likely a bit better xp.

12-18 I was also killing heavily in King Xorbb's Gorge... great for a solo kiter, terrible for a group in my mind. The mob effects are annoying to deadly. At 16 I could solo the lord eyes (aside from Sophtyr) but would also die to them sometimes. I did this for an item, on TLP not a efficient levelling area.

10+ you can try Najena. Without a group it jumps up to quickly in mob difficulty to be efficient. By the 30s you are killing lots of poor xp to get at the xp aside from certain small camps. On Vulak, these are often camped.

20-35 Mistmoore has been great at any level point, just build a group similar and kill mobs efficently (so don't push deeper than you can keep down). Graveyard camp was particularly good I found.

Around level 20 I found the gargoyle Island in Ocean of Tears to be a great group camp... and soloable while I built the group. Most using the zone are 40+, so it looks to be good for that too.

30+ Lower Guk is great... if you can get into a group and find a camp.

30+ Kithicor you can dabble with. It's hard though, especially the healer mobs with huge mana pools. I have seen multiple 40+ groups running in here, it becomes attractive for not being completely packed and at least being near commons. I have seen more soloers picking edge of zone mobs lately while they are lfg.

That's my start at least...

Edit: I forgot something special to TLP: Original Temple of Cazic Thule... It has been good to me in the 30s, and entrance is lower than that.

And there is always the Allakhazam zones by level chart

I've been told Everfrost to Permafrost is a very tight levelling path on TLP as well. If you can sell to the barbarian vendors it works even better.

Skipping into Blackburrow is also an option in the early stages of that path too.

Starting in Qeynos or SFG I always make my way to everfrost as soon as possible.
Spiderlings drop silk. Polar bear cubs drop skins of all quality. Around level 9 you can move to the snow cats, and mammoth calfs.
Going into permafrost the biggest challenge is stopping the goblins when they start running. After that its careful pulling.

BB is fine if you can get the groups for the higher level gnolls.

Eruds crossing is a great space for the mid teens. Being able to cure poison can be important when you try to kill the spiders.

Hey guys!

Long time no see...2 months i'd guess.
I mean to log in soon, I have been a busy beaver with the job chanage and all. I have only logged in a couple times recently.

How is the new server going for you? I know last I had seen Snail...he was in the 20's. I never made above level 5 with my ogre's, but I will make time for them soon.

Jon, did you get your computer problems solved?
see you soon.

Good to see you posting alwayslost.
The necro is 44 now and hitting the stall point of... "Do I really want to kill goblins again tonight", but overall things are good.

Once I get an EB item (or dead man floating as I am high enough to mem the spell) I want to check out the trash in Kedge and see if that place is as annoying as I seem to remember it being.

Seekers of Stars has a solid base of folks currently in their high teens early twenties, and a handful of ones now in the 40's. Other folks are joining or leaving as play changes. Try out the web site www.seekstars.guildportal.com register your toons for the guild.

My comp problems were solved. This machine upgrade may even be able to handle my second account, if I want to spend the money for it.

Hope things are going well in the transition.
