Ok heres whats up. just got back into game last week when i heard there was a new progression server. It was great i played first couple days no problem, but i had to leave on friday to go on vacation. So I am back from vacation now and i tried to get on everquest but when i double click the icon the only thing that happens is screen comes up saying SOE. Thats all it doesn't it won't go any further. Anyone have any ideas?

Tell the smart folks here (not I) what operating system you are using as this seems to come up as the main issue people are having with various games (i.e., newer versions of windows being more secure and having "administration" settings you need to deal with).

In truth, this may not hold the key to your problem --but if it does and you see this before one of the more savvy poster's does it might speed up getting a response that helps you out.

Do you have an active account? SOE opened up old accounts through the 21st so if you were playing on that trial period then you just need to go to the SOE page and pay your monthly fee.
