Fippy/Vulak'Aerr Server Ultra Rare Item HuntFollow

EQ Devs have hinted that some of the "long-ago removed from drop list items" will be available for a "short time" on the Fippy Progression Server.

With your help, we can make a good hunting list:

Original (Classic/Vanilla) EQ Items To check on:

Manastone originally dropped by Evil Eye in Lower Guk

Guise of the Deceiver originally dropped by a ghoul assasin . Clickable from inventory by any class it was replaced with Mask of Deception , which is only clickable by the listed classes of bard and rogue.

Scimitar of the Mistwalker originally dropped off Lady Vox .

Rubicite Breastplate originally from the Avatar of Fear . This shouldn't be on Fippy since the newb-zone version of Cazic Thule should be live first. However, it might be in when that gets revamped? Note: Reyla has said (posted below) that Rubicite dropped off various Tae Ew. Jophiel has added that it was original Temple of Cazic Thule. --It will be nice to get a TLP server update on whether this stuff is in or not.

Staff of Forbidden Rites originally dropped by Lady Vox .

Rubicite dropped of Tae Ew mobs in Cazic when I played in 99. I had a BP and all other pieces and never fought Avatar of Fear.

Rubicite was in the original Temple of Cazic-Thule. It was later removed and replaced with the old school class quest armors (Lambent, Cobalt, Totemic, Ravenscale, etc).

Unless I'm really gapping... crafted quests are still live on regular servers. I'll start a thread for "TLP quests to do" as I think this fits right into that idea.

People offering 20p for optic nerves on the TLP server would suggest the quests are indeed live, since the only reason to not vendor them for the 2p is to do the crafted bracer quest (as far as I know).
