I wanted to look at items only available from original EQ, I highlight all the expansions under exclude these expansions, when i hit search there are still many item that are not from the original. Any ideas?

This is just a guess but considering database design, adding a field for which expansion was something they probably added long after the fact. Any items that have no entry in that field probably return on your query if the logic doesn't append "and not null". To make things more complicated, which expansion do you flag items that were added as hotzone drops to old content?

This is definitely going to be an issue with Fippy going live in just a few more days.

My idea is a thread I was going to start for Fippy anyways, but it's cleaner to jump on here if Maswov doesn't mind? (I'll nuke the post if I haven't inferred the reason for your search correctly and am totally derailing your thread).

Encyclopedia brains, Original EQers with long memories and previous-progression types with insight, here is the question:

What gear path would you follow and/or what must get items are in original EQ?I'll ask it nice and vague like this, then anyone with class or race specific info can contribute away.

Note: I realized I'd been away so long and done so little of original EQ that aside from the earring in the jello cube under qeynos, stein quest in Feerott and the (added later) drops in Warrens I don't have much to say.
