PAtching problemsFollow

Title says it all. Thought id give the game another round see how things are with mercenaries and such. I haven't played for quite awhile.

Anyways I install Everquest Titanium and reactivate my account and it won't patch. It downloaded the updated patcher and shows house of thule, news, etc. When it starts to download it says 8 hours remaining and it shows the various files that are being downloaded. Every time after about 30 seconds to a minute it just hangs on the same file and the estimated time just keeps increasing. Basically it quits downloading and just hangs there. If I hit cancel and then download it will take right off again downloading files and quit after 30 seconds to 1 minute.

So after having these issues I download the station launcher and try it. I installed it to a different directory and it starts off downloading fine and after about the same amount of time it times out telling me it can't download whatever file it was working on.

I have a Windows 7 computer and I set both programs to go through the firewall and to run as an admin. I don't have any problems with any other online game/app (wow and steam works fine haven't had to change a thing on any of them). There shouldn't be anything wrong on my computer, in fact its a pretty fresh install of Windows since I recently upgraded my HD about 3 weeks ago.

Anyways any suggestions? Sucks paying to play a game and not being able to. Be nice if it was like the old days when you didn't have to pay just to patch the game.
