Greetings all. I've been goofing around on EQ Mac for a bit but I've decided to tri-box (using Spaces on the same computer). As you may or may not know, EQ Mac stops at PoP with regard to content and player progression. I want to start a trio, but I am stuck on a few combinations that seem appealing:
SK/BST/CLR
ENC/BST/CLR
SK/ENC/CLR
MAG/ENC/CLR
The way I see it, I'll absolutely need a Cleric to heal/rez regardless of what other two classes I choose. I'll need slow, especially for higher-end content should I have to solo when I can't find a group. The issue I am having a hard time with is DPS versus survivability. I see the ENC/BST/CLR being good DPS as well as the MAG/ENC/CLR combo, but pulls could be difficult without a good puller that can take some punishment and maintain agro, as well as being able to snare a mob when it starts to run, which is where I see an SK fitting into a healer/slower mix quite nicely.
Given the gear/level/content restrictions of PoP and previous expansions, what tri-box combination would you recommend?

MAG/ENC/CLR would destroy just about anything that crossed it's path.
That being said, personally I'd go for SK/ENC/CLR because I like to melee and I like hybrid classes, even if I'm on a caster alt I'll still go in swinging something unless it's being pet tanked.
