Been thinking about returning to EQFollow

Hi all.

Most dont remember me because I quit playing after only 2 months. I no longer have the software or any of my account information, plus I have changed banks and such since then. I was wondering if there was still a way to purchase the game that now includes all of the expansion packs, and what do you recommend as far as which server to choose? Many thanks for your input.

I've "returned" a number of times...mostly after long breaks.

If you go to the Everquest website, I believe, there is a link to purchase the game. You can purchase a package which will include all upto and including the most recent expansion. I believe it is about 39.99.

For what it's worth...SOE is about to release another expansion in about three weeks or so. If you purchased today, you would have to repurchase the expansion (should you desire it) later. If you waited until the release came out, you would be up to date. No suggestions on what you should do here.

Servers, don't know. I've been on the Rathe since 2001. It has been through multiple mergers. Most recently about three months ago. Population is reasonable. Might go to the Everquest discussion forums site for more guidance there.

Good fortunes, good hunting.

If you're starting from scratch, SOE also offers a $20 package that includes 13 expansions and a month of free play. You also get all the in game bonuses such as the slow horse and slow roboboar mounts. I went this route, pretty good value if you ask me.

As far as servers are concerned. All standard rule set servers have decent populations especially after the recent server merge. The PVP server (ZEK) and roleplaying server (Firiona Vie) have lower populations and may have uncertain futures at this point. I would avoid these two unless you have friends etc already on them or if you rather those playstyles. Trakanon is a completely new standard server(everyone started from lvl 1 at its recent launch. I play on AB server(European times ) which has a good population also except that their prime times are approx. 4-7 hours ahead of US EST and US Pacific times respectively. Hope this helps.
