Greetings everyone. Now I know everyone has reasons they play their class, and each class has its best qualities. I am looking at starting up a second toon and I was going to do either a Zerker or a Ranger. Which would have the highest DPS as a boxed toon. I dont want to be clicking a thousand buttons but 2 or 3 are ok.

I think Berzerker is higher dps, but if you want a fire and forget toon then ranger is the better one. Just set up in bow range of your tank, hit autofire and plink away. Once you get endless quiver aa (66?) you don't need to worry about running out of arrows.
Zerkers and Rangers are pretty evenly matched in the DPS department, from what I've seen, but at the high end of the game, zerkers will out-damage an equally geared/AAed Ranger. As with any class, gear and AAs make all the difference.
My main is a Ranger, but I also have a 76+400-ish zerker. I do enjoy playing the zerker, but I just couldnt live without the utility of the ranger. Im obviously biased, but having a wide variety of tools in addition to great DPS is just more fun to me.
