Hey there folks. Was wondering something. How do I check what kinda things I've discovered along my way in the world of Norrath? Thank you in advance. :-)

I don't understand the question. Can you give an example of what sort of "discovery" you want to track?

If you mean, like what EQ2Players tracks, there is nothing like that in EQPlayers that I know of. I think Magelo has an item discoveries tracker, if you're a premium member and use their in-game tracker, but of course it doesn't cover everyone.

Similarly, here, use of Lucy will track the first person to upload an item, but again, not everyone uses Lucy. As far as I know there's no on-site search for Lucy submitted by, but I generally, just use advanced google search and limit the search to https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item= and my Lucy name "Yther Ore". In this way, you get the Lucy submitted stuff, but you'll also get any item you've updated as well, and I get items I have posted on, since my Lucy anme is the same as posting signature.

There is still one item (a 65ish dagger, appears to be from DoDh - TSS era), that I had submitted, but I could neer find the link in my logs to see where I got the link from or where it dropped.

Well anyway, I hope this helped some.

If you search for a item in EQplayers it will tell you who the first person on each server was to discover it but other then that nothing is kept in data of what stuff you have looted other then on serverside that gm's can see

Thanks, I couldn't remember where it said, and didn't take too long to look for it, just hit player pages and server pages. On EQ2Players, both list that stuff on player and server pages.

EQPlayers tracking seems to bite hard. Since the new server Trakanon is up, I've checked to see items not discovered on Trak, then went to farm the items to see how well it tracked. Out of a definite three items, I checked before and after, and with no one else in the zone at the time, other than my box toon, only 1 item showed me discovering it. The other two, showed it being discovered without any any toon recognized. There were a few more I didn't check before hand that also showed discovery with no name, but as I didn't check it previously, I don't know if it was me or not. Either way, it should have a name at least for a new server like Trak.

Usually it takes a few days for EQ Players to update. I was on Mayong for a year and had a few discoveries there myself.. but the site didn't properly update for at least 3-4 days. Dunno why.
