Project 1999 - Filter for just original EQ items?Follow

When searching for equipment there doesn't seem to be an option to search for just Original EQ pre-expansions.

If someone can let me know how to do the query to get just original EQ items I'd be grateful.

Thanks,

I thought when using the premium search you could check or uncheck each expansion. Just turn them all off. You'll still get stuff like Defiant gear and hotzone trinkets but at least you won't get stuff from the expansions.

I doubt the Powers That Be are going to add an additional filter to help with emulators given that the stance of said Powers is that emulators are a bad thing.

Thank You. Tried that and came up with WAY too much stuff that wasn't in-game during original. Incredible the amount of bleed that leeks in over time; not just items but quests, level to mem song / spell, etc.

Some EMU servers have a data base on their websites. I don't know if project 1999 does or not, have you checked?

Interestingly enough, I spent some time looking around on the project 1999 website, free eq? This I need to see!
well I read and I clicked and read some more, and at one point I ended up back on the originally linked page...

and realized that running down the middle of the page was a list of game updates...just like the pay eq...lol.

What a massive re-invention of the wheel.

OP: I use this.

It can take some hunting around on it, but you can find a lot of stuff, and it's way more accurate than Alla's when we're traveling a decade back in time. Plus, the amateurish nature of the site recreates my classic experience by recreating Allakhazoo's in a way.

Huh, apparently that site is no longer being updated, but there is a wiki.
