I have lvl 85 Mage, 650 aa, but little exp due to the help (sitting back) while a necro glided. I need to do on my own! Void c is mine. but if I go to fort in dsp my mage cant take but a few and it is worn out....lol. Any ideas will be appriciated. Mage is cool, I just need to become the mage. Been running a bard on same acct, but he is not a solo boss......and he has over twice as many aa as me! ty all....Go EQ!

Pet focus helps a lot. By focus I mean a worn item/aug that when you summon your pet so it is a more powerful version.

All pet defensive/offensive AA's are a must. You have 650 AA's so you must have some of them.

The thing is, you have to think of your pet as the priority. Mages only do so much (limited) dps anyways, even with all offensive AA's.

Go with the air pet. The earth pet has more hp (slightly) but it doesn't hold aggro as well.
