Strange Message In Red When Got On TonightFollow

Havent been on since the 22nd. I brought my Trader up and in the Chat box in red was the following:

Your XML Files are not compatible with current Everquest files, certain windows may not perfomr correctly. Use "/loadskin Default 1" to load the default skin.

Well, I havent a clue what it means. I checked out random maps using the Atlas while on Trader. Trader and her junk is up in Bazaar. Mail, etc. seem fine.

Is this a scam? Joke? Not doing anything until know what is what.

It means one or more of your UI files are outdated. If you're using a custom UI, you'll need to get an update to fix this (or if you made your own, you'll need to incorporate whatever change that was made that's causing this error.)

There's a file in your directory that will tell you which window is the problem. I think it's called UIERRORS, but I'm not 100% sure. Just check your EQ directory and look for one of the most recent files, and it will be one of them.
