and I have forgotten how to get a question/complaint to SOE. Also I see an anomaly in my billing which may be the cause, the oldest billing I see in their record is in 12/2001. How can that be? My oldest toon on that account has an incept date of 7/2000! Does anyone believe I played that long, a year and a half, for free? There are no cancellations, no suspensions, no irregularities, I DID have the vet perk last year, and have not done anything strange with the account since that time, that is to say the account has been awake and paid up all that time. I should be getting MORE vet perk this year, not less!
So, could some of you veteran/hardened complainers give me some hints on how to proceed with this? I want my perks back! Or should I wait and see? They have screwed it up in the past, and fixed it on their own. But what is bothering me about that approach is that some of my billing seems to have disappeared or rolled off somewhere. Am I going to have to send a hit man to Calcutta or something?

Just to be clear, you've only lost one Vet AA? Not all of them? Have you tried camping all the way out, and restarting? Have you waited a while, and tried that again?
If you've said yess to all of that, then yea, you'll need to contact SoE. P for petition, and click the (I forget atm, but think it's called email or online contact) appropriate link on the page, and explain the situation.
That should get you somewhere and if it doesn't, you can head to the SoE website, and contact the billing / accounts department directly, and/or the technical support, but tech support will prob direct you to the billing/accounts department anyway.

With the last patch they finally fixed the long-broken vet rewards. In addition to people who were missing years of credit, anyone with extra credit for whatever reason were also amended. For example, my account, although only 2.5 years old, somehow inexplicably was credited with 6.7 years for the longest time. It's now been rolled back to 2.5 years and I lost 4 vet rewards.
This was intentional on SOE's part and I highly suspect a petition will not help you, particularly if you lost the reward as a result of the recent patch.

1)every time you bought an expansion that came with a free 30 days...this rolled your vet reward out another 30 days.
2)have you pissed off any of the soe peeps lately?

The 30 free days is for new accounts always, so everyone only got it once.

Been there, done the research, hours on the phone with SoE, and e-mails...way too many e-mails.
Trust me, everytime you did one of the expansions that came with the 30 day offers, it rolled your vet reward out.
One reason I stopped buying them from retail outlets and went solely to downloads.

I only lost the one perk on one account, and from RenKat's input, it sounds like I am toast.
But if they rolled back the one year free credit thingy, I should have lost one on each account. So it looks like it might be a billing screwup, an overzealous archive program somewhere, maybe.
Tried the email, no answer yet. I have a gating-toons routine for resupplying in the boonies, so the merchant was nice, but no big deal.
What was it Obie Wan said, "This little one is not worth the effort."
Thanks again for the help, much appreciated. Maybe in the flood of complaints I am sure they got with this, it will fix itself, as it has in the past... :) If not, no biggy, vet perks are not what I play for.

Sure enough, patience won again. thanks SOE.
I got my merchant back, AND the banker, although some of the toons, I had to logout out to get their goodies to come in.
My second oldest account ALSO got the merchant and a banker.
My third oldest account (very much newer so I could still play while waiting for raids to shape up) got THREE new items, although I think one of those was deleted earlier (I just don't use it, and can't remember for sure).
LOL, I almost hesitate to create hot keys for the new stuff, with all the changes, what is going to disappear? Heh, must keep an eye on the buttons to see what is tagged 'not useable' this particular day!
