Without looking at vinney's link go to Rathe Mountains they spawn there in west area along with hill giants and giant skeletons. In addition Froon and Choon in West Karana are cyclops.

Cyclopses (sp?) can be found in:

East/West/South Karana
South Ro (ancient Cyclops)
Ocean of tears (ancient Cyclops and a whole island full of seafury cyclopses)
Mountains of Rathe

Wrong game. The Lore and Legend quests are in EQ2. Here's a link to the quest on the EQ2 site.

It's not out of left field, and EQ1 forums get alot of EQ2 questions from time to time. EQ2 is full of racial Lore and Legend quests. I even thought it was an EQ2 question, and hadn't responded, only because I never looked for the eq2 link to point them in the right direction, until after the link was posted, and then of course no need to duplicate what was already linked.

Nice volume of books from those quests, think I have 1 whole shelf of a bookcase devoted to just the Lore and Legend books, and that was from just the original game.

If it wasn't an EQ2 question, it most likely wouldn't have been worded exactly as the quest name.

Sorry, my ignorance.
When the statement made "For all the P in Norath" I thought he was making a cleaver reference to "All the Rice in China".
I never played eq2 and did not even think that was or he was referring to a certain name of a quest.

My apologies and lesson learned. If I don't know keep my nose out of it.

First response was very good :), asking for more info, and giving link to all cyclops, but if you would of clicked the link for the EQ2 quest, you would of seen the quest name exactly matches the thread title, and probably wouldn't have been so ready to jump on the you're way off band wagon.

Other games are often easier to determine, as there are fewer terms exaxtly the same as there are between EQ1 and 2, but even with that, some poster make it difficult. Example:
https://everquest.allakhazam.com/forum.html?forum=1;mid=1244746003285629383

If Dire Maul was an EQ1 item, and they hadn't mentioned the mob name, which also doesn't exist in EQ1, it would of sounded very EQ-ish. The EQ2 questions though are often very hard to discern without some knowldedge of EQ2.

I'm getting redundant :(

Just my 2cp, on people posting in the wrong forums.
