Um, hi everyone. First of all, sorry if this seems a bit weird. It's kinda weird for me anyways.

Anyways, I'm uh, I'm kinda extremely anti-social. Due to this fact, I don't really talk to that many people. I'm kind of a huge hermit and all.

Anyways, a friend of my mom's said that to help me with that, that maybe I could try to begin to work with that by playing a not so active MMO with a handful of people that I have known for years and feel comfortable talking to on AIM.

Oh, and please, don't ask me to play with you. I have a really hard time when someone I don't know is so much as typing at me right that second. It's different on a forum, as it's almost always something the person said a few minutes ago, if not hours and therefore easier to focus on. I still get a little nervous, but it's something I know that I can work on.

The plan you see...Well, I kinda came up with the idea to post on what happens every day when I play the game for a few hours, which like I said, will be just about every day as soon as my copy of the anniversary edition arrives.

My friends are all gonna start over, and we're all gonna be this one lizard race, called the Ickies or something like that, and we're gonna live on their island country, taking things nice and slow. I like lizards, so I bet this would be fun.

Also a friend suggested that I should be a shammy, whatever that is. It can heal itself, and can deal out a good amount of damage from what I understand.

So, would it be ok if posted what me and my friends did here every day we play? I think it would really enhance the fun, and encourage me to keep at the game, and overall just help me really get closer to talking to more people, at least online anyways.

Absolutely! People do weekend updates here all the time and it is interesting to hear what others are up to in the game. You may also get the benefit of the accumulated knowledge of those on the forum as EQ is a HUGE game. It will probably take you months just to explore the lizard continent Kunark you speak of.

If you are playing sure post what you do. If you dont play you can always post in the OOT forum as well. Stay out of the Asylum for the time being.

You will be playing an Iksar. They start on the Island of Kunark. Go to the zone lists and look up Cabilis and field of bone. Or you will start after the tutorial in Cresent Reach, which is the home city/starting city placed in the game at the release of The Serepent Spine expansion.

Shaman are a great class to play.
