Any one remember the sponsored duals in the arena off rathe mountians?

None, because I don't duel; to me there's no point in it, it's an exercise in futility, and a waste of time I could be using to do something productive.

I don't duel but I would not want to face a bard due to their run speed advantage.
On the other hand I know a druid or ranger won the last two free for alls on Povar.

On Zek you forget about duel too… well sort of. + or- 4 all the time, anytime. Always have to watch to watch your back. Duel is still used but usually some third party usually joins in. With the introduction of Mercenaries Wizzes kill them with two casts. But the trend seems to be more of group PvP… sort of like the old days. Nec’s have a lot of useful tools along with SK’s with Pets spells or range and counters. Rangers if they max out their AA can be pretty deadly at a far range, tough to fight when you can’t get close to them. Rogs in a group are very effective with their speed and the ability to nail you in the back. There are some wicked casted pets owned by casters that can’t be ignored. And War with a healer are in your face. Conclusion all classes have their tools just how skilled the operator is and the gear he owns. I find that if someone is willing to challenge someone… the deck is stacked.

I am a warrior and my biggest fear used to be enchanters because they would mez me and then med up. Since resist went through the roof and player spells hardly ever stick now, my biggest fear are clerics because they just won't die and they don't have the dps to kill me. lol. its a good 30 minute fight with them if thye have the mana pool to handle it.

I haven't dueled in probably 3-4 years (so a lot of game changes have gone in since then).

But when I did, the only class I couldn't ever beat that I dueled was monk. I was able to beat wizards (once given the secret), rogues (they were the easiest as they overthought things), zerkers, SK's, shaman (long long fight), paladin (long fight), warriors and other clerics. The classes that would give me the most trouble and I had split records on were rangers, enchanters, mages and necros. I never dueled a druid, bard, beastlord

i do Fear the rogue as they have poisons and some of the highest DPS in the game. They don't need spells and can even back stab in any direction. The fool that thinks they can take a rogue in a duel is the fool.

you are wrong on so many levels.

SK's can use harm touch in PVP.

Rogue's do not have the highest DPS in the game.

worst classes to fight are the ones that can survive the longest but have decent dps....like rangers monks and necros. wizards can be a pain too. yep i'd still say rangers are the worst class to pvp 1v1 against. they have the PoSky stun bow which imo needs nerfed. they can pell all your buffs. with the UF aa's they can chain proc stun and just rape you

rogues all the way. i was backstabbed by a rogue twice in a row. i was done. he would unbuff me and just total me. on either of my toons. My beastlord was rather high end. and my cleric is rather good to. My cleric can take mages and bards with no problem. just gotta have the mana!! i fear rogues >.< their backstab sucks in duel! everywhere else it rocks! But it really does depend on the player whose playing. some people just dont know how to play. others know very very well what they are doing. Gear plays a role...but like i said..its whose behind the character
