Faction bonus weekend and what to do?Follow

The faction bonus weekend is co-inciding with my need for some input on my necro's future (remember I am a newb at post GoD content for the most part):

70 drakkin necro that has the crown of deceit and maxed all cabilis factions done. Doesn't look like I need to bother with Dranik loyalist factions... though I am not sure on the clicky-robe effect and it is worth the bother?

So anyways, the necro is level 70 and has been inactive a few years. I have all spells up to level 68 and then it gets a little sparse. 71-85 spells are somewhat mind-boggling looking at the lists. Clearly some require faction to get.

Researching and/or paying a Researcher aren't really options for me at the moment. So my questions boil down to:

1. What faction(s) should I grind out during this bonus time for maximum benefit down the road. (Is there a must-have necro item at level 74 that requires Xxxx faction for example)?

2. Is there a level range (71-75, 76-80...) that I should be aiming for because the key spells are vendor available without mad faction? I hesitate to push to 80 or 85 due to my low aa count.

My two suggestions => Dragonscale Hills & Katta. Both have vendors that need faction to buy spells. >.<

While I should be working on some useful faction, I can't stop myself from going old school here and fixing things that have been genuinely bugging me for 10 years.

For Sam, the DE SK, that was the Qeynos Order of Three, Freeport casters guild, and Paineel. I just spent the evening collecting human meat/making a human illusion potion, killing rodents in North Qeynos and finally handing in assorted rodent parts to the red/scowling enchanter guildmaster in South Qeynos. I'm dubious now so I "think" I am now totally free to walk around in Qeynos... finally. Paineel will have to wait until after the clicknars are gone. Arcane Scientists in Freeport is next I hope.

Well the faction bonus is now supposedly over. I wound up getting faction with kithicor, qeynos casters, freeport casters, protectors of the pine (rangers), and paineel all without decreasing the factions I had already.

I'm fairly happy that I took the opportunity, and also that it wasn't a total faction 'give away'. Despite the several hours I spent in Sebilis, I was unable to budge my live froglok faction off scowling. Of course, my motto always was 'Frogloks are for killing'.
