Alright Alla fans/users/lurkers, lets hear what you did this past weekend (in EQ or not). The longstanding tradition of this thread is part of what makes this community great (I know I have read the update during months I wasn't playing EQ --gives a sense of what is happening in game and what people are enjoying).

-----

My mayong-server Monk kept garnering AA at 61, which is a great level to do so as Hotzones like Kael and Velk's are still worthwhile and the ever-busy Blackfeather Roost is just plain ridiculous (more xp per solo kill than anywhere else I can solo that I have found).

My regular trio + two mercenaries handled the west wing in Bastion of Thunder which surprised me as our highest level is 63 and we didn't have a proper slower. I remember when many 65 real tanks had issues there with a slower...

It wasn't all grind for me though. I did a short tour of Luclin and acquired a cool shovel then I roamed around The Tenebrous Mountains and visited the Coterie Vampires for some old-school fun. Half the Luclin outdoor zones are so sparsely mob populated --just begging for a big global event such as Seru going to war and deploying his annoying folks all over.

My other great victory of the weekend happened in Tower of Frozen Shadow where I had to clear Valsera's floor 4 times to get him to spawn (pesky oddball ice shade...). Second cycle of bats got me Tserrina which was a relief as my regular group had recently done 5-7 spawns and not got her. Not sure what I will do as a master-keyed monk, but a fun time getting it.

Lastly (was a busy weekend!) my bard friend (+his healer merc)pushed our way down to the herbalist's hut in Chardok. Lots of runners of course but easy kills at 61/62 for so-so xp. Dead sarnaks is very satisfying though...

A Wizened Herb Collector wasn't up so we decided to venture into the unknown of Chardok B and all I can say is: fantastic easy xp,(based on mobs I can handle at this time) and only beaten by Blackfeather roost by a bit. Best part is nothing runs away.

Fun weekend, did the Unrest instance with our group then we decided to test our skills and see where we could fight at lvl 59 -60, we crawled through murkgliders in nobles causeway and then decided to give WOS a go, we were able to take mobs down ok but I think our DPS was a little slow to really make it a worthwhile place to hunt as this level, ended this adventure with a wipe and started back at it the next day (Sunday) first we headed to Seb for some easy XP /Loots, clubbed all the Juggs and a few named for a while then we decided to Hit PLane of nightmare and do the Hobgoblins Cave, now this was a fun learning adventure, seems as uber as we are we still cannot take down a raid mob with a single group of 61 adventurers (the Wizard 1.5 mob??) picked up some Etheral Parchments and after we wiped on the gobby we decided to try out BOT, fun stuff here, I love killing giants, played about an hour and then we camped for the night.

Zlandicar...

Just been alot fo fun killing these old dragons...Lord Yelinak was a tough one. Now if only the dragon in the Emerald Jungle would spawn...Smiley: grin

Also, got 71 on both this weekend thanks to some great guildies. Really loving being on FV

Oh, got Froglok SK to 51 to start rolling with my cleric.

Well a weekend without Elne Clare in the hospital is a great one! On the other hand I broke the tip of my second toe on Wednesday at work.

Friday I took the beastlord to Velks. Dinged 55 and picked up some aa work. Raised throwing skills and h2h/pierce as well. Was in a killing pl group with a mage who was pulling 10 or so at a time. A few kills in NC on ranger, no runes.
A bit more on rogue in drooga. Watched dvd of Saving Grace. Nice series so far, didnt watch it the first time on TV.

Saturday. Long day at work, Both legs throbbing by the time I made it out.Stopped to visit the Danmark a square rigged danish merchant training ship.
Went to the hand fasting ceremony for my Step daughter elect. Elne's second daughter. Ceremony was held while raining but only my feet got wet. After party I came home and did some odds and ends on comp. Took Beastlord back to ef for giants and more weapons skill up. Logged ranger on briefly killed drunt but no rune.

Sunday. Saw the [i]Danmark[i leave port. Very unhappy I couldnt get camera to work.
Hard day on board. Frustrating visitor claiming to be a museum member wanted to use 2nd floor bathroom, but wouldnt get a ticket or show me ID. Got ragged on for 5 min at least. On the other hand I had a fun presentation with Anchors away and Commence firing. I do love summer and lovely women with cleavage and firm butts!
In game I ran the shaman to Icefall, ran rogue to home and burned up some poison supplies. Quick log onto ranger to burn of LOD. Played beast, Ice Giants were camped so i ran inside perma grabbed some crystals and camped there. Will gather more on my way out.
