I like simple. http://www.eqinterface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?s=3e23135fd1d48ac152cf4199ec778e31&id=4615 is the humble ui I use. Drakah does a wonderful job of keeping this UI going.

I still play at 800 X 600. My eyes just can't take 1024 X 768 for whatever reason.

I use the same one Balayan linked, and I won't use any other full set ... I customize Drakah's just a tiny bit myself.

Drakah has some other cool (more graphic) looking ones. Browse their website, you can come across alot of different ones, some very cool looking, but I like the old format as simple and clean.

EDIT: BTW, I play at 1024x768 and it works fine. Also love that he added large / small icons sub-zips, since I used to have to remind people how to make htem small again after new patchs :D

I use the same one as well, but customize a few pieces. I play at 1920x1080 and it works perfectly.

I personally prefer Wiznut's UI but but I modify it a little by using current UI icons and 2 horizontal and 2 vert hotbutton bars. He has a decent set of instructions on how to install (and/or modify his)UI's HERE

Many other people swear by and use either SARS or LodiDodi

EDIT: Wiznut is a minimalist UI

I have been using Aya for the last several years and I do love the layout of the UI. It has everything on the screen I need, you may get info overload initially, but it's nicely laid out with right colors to show what's going on, specially nice for a healer.

One complaint is that there are three people updating this UI so it can be confusing after a major changes in EQ. It takes a bit of time before a patch comes up. However, I think it's a great UI to use.

I highly recommend integrated-steel UI from EQinterfaces.com in addition to a buff frame snippet that stacks them vertically instead of the oversized frame that is included in this ui.

Integrated-steel provides all the stat info from your inventory window as well as a numerical readout of all the various xp bars (reg xp, aa, Laa). I play a wizard and having a numerical readout for mana that is highly visible is very important to me. Besides that, it doesn't have all the vines/frills that the current default UI does which just make it too cluttered and add no functionality. I also like that the interface is much brighter than the old default UI which was boring and uninteresting.

Also the UI makes all the hotbars horizontal rather than 1,2 Horiz and 3,4 Vert which seems to make my layout most convenient.

Definitely check out the screenshots or post here and I can link/attach one.

I personally use this one Ang's

It is fairly simple and easy on the eyes. I play in windowed mode since i normally 2-box and sometimes 3-box on one machine. It works pretty good.
