Question about Hot ZonesFollow

Does the xp bonus apply to all mobs in a specific hotzone or is it just within the lvl range? For example The Overthere is a hotzone for lvl 30 but iirc have mobes within the range of 15-45 or something like that. Ahh almost forgot about the cliffgolems, they are even higher then 50 - they give "hotzone bonus xp" as well?

The xp bonus applys to all mobs in the zone. Even when a zone goes "cold", the hotzone augment and hotzone gear still drops. It seems the hotzone augments are not as common once a zone goes cold.

When you also factor in indoor experience bonuses, LOD or potions - and you'll be amazed at how much faster you'll ding.

{True info found edited to be correct} Oh right, mobs will pop much faster when the zone is "hot" just so you know.

Happy Adventuring! Smiley: grin

As for a link or quote from an EQ Developer or someone official from SOE or EQ stating that mob pop rates are much faster... sorry I was not able to locate one at this time...

I will keep looking for the link - you got me on that one and I'm determined to find cold hard evidence now Smiley: grin

No change to respawn rate.

And to think all this time I thought mobs popped super fast... Maybe my dps just sucked that badly Smiley: lol
