As of today's patch (6-10), the Lucy Item Collector is no longer working on my 2 computers. I get the following error message on both PC's (I used X's in lieu of the numbers incase any of the info was sensitive).

Setting up session: Client port xxxx, Server port xxxx. SKey is xxxxxxxxxx.
Processing player profile.
Warning: data len (xxxxx) != size of profile struct (xxxxx)
Connection close detected, resetting.

Any help would be appreciated - Thanks.

Try this thread or start a new one in forum.

You can also try renaming or deleting the itemcol.db in the Program Files\EQ Item Collector directory, in case it's just corrupted, but sounds like a problem due to the patch that hasn't been addressed yet. I can't confirm nor deny the possibility of it being a problem with the collector or not, as I haven't been in-game for quite a while.

Having a similar problem. Can't get Character Profile updates lately (since June 19). I reinstalled the EQItem Collector and Winpcap programs, but it is failing to recognize my characters in game for profiling. No idea what to do.

Also get a Null Character message and the Data Length warning too. Maybe the Lucy program is broken for now.

Mine works fine. Most likely is a corruption in your itemcol.db file. I haven't used the profile upload, but it recognizes my characters and keeps them updated with whatever changes I've been making.

Still no Character Profiles being created. I assume "under "Options" -> Profile Support" uses the default folder EQItem and creates a default file "Profile". I never see a file named "Profile" showing in the folder.

Also, does anyone what the following lined seen during Sesions mean:

"Processing player profile.
Warning: data len (24856) != size of profile struct (24848)
Processing player inventory.
Warning: Player inventory with null profile."

???

I am suspicious these are a cause of my Character Profiles not working.

Still sounds like your itemcol.db in your C:\Program Files\EQ Item Collector\ directory is corrupted, since it appears to be working for other people. It's rare for this error to be anything other than the program itself, or that file corrupted. After doing the following, and you still don't see any profiles, then I'd delete the itemcol.db file. It contains all the items and toon profile information, and is probably corrupted.

As far as setting up Profiles, do the following:
Options - Settings
In that window, check Profile Support check box, and use the ... button to browse to a folder (My Documents, is probably a good one.
Click the Ok button.

Run EQ, and log in a toon. Then check EQ Item Collector by doing:
Files - Profiles
In that window see if any toons appear. If they do, select the one you want an HTML file for, and press the Export button. You will now have a file of the form Character-###.html in whatever directory you selected for Profile Support above. Character = the name of the character, and ### = a number for that sever.
