I just read here on Pacify and it seems when I left I had the highest one which pacified up to level 55. Well, that sure is a little below now.
Is there a higher pacify spell for a pally, can it be bought and where?

I don't play a Pally so I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure that is the last level that Pally's get pacify. They have been upset with this for a long, long time but I don't remember it ever changing.
As an 85 Pally I'm sad to say that is the last I got. You'll learn other ways of taking care of situations but let me just say that Anklesmasher will be one of your few great survival tools as it's your only (that I know of) means of preventing mobs from running for reinforcements.
Also, do what you can to get all stuns in your level range. For one reason or another I was unable to obtain all until I finally reached 85 at which point I was able to, at last, chain stun mobs again.

Anklesmasher is a better bet on snare, but you can also use Tserrina's Whip. Only benefit of the whip, is 1HS if your 1HB skill is low, and it's only 35 required for the proc, instead of 49, but it's also only 40% instead of 55% snare, and worse ratio at 7/22 versus 10/20.
Chain stuns are great, and I often timed my Bash at mid levels so I could stun with a successful Bash right at 20%, 'cause getting the mob below 10% really slows them down alot. Just one more stun option, that you may forget about, especially if you pound Bash / Kick buttons. :) Kick works as well, just I always used 1hs + shield at lower to mid-levels.

Distillate of Slime potions are available, but the ones I have tried using (IV pr VI?) are resisted by they level 60 mobs in COD. That's the only place I have tried them so the disease resistance of mobs there may affect your results.

Yther, thanks for being the first person I've ever seen to show that whip. Maybe it's just really REALLY rare on Tunare but I've only been told of Anklesmasher in all my queries there. I'll make sure to recommend that to some of my up-and-comings as an alternative.
Rofl Wuvarien. Well, am doing okay. When I came back a bit ago, worked on Ranger the most and now working on Pally a bit.
