One of my computers died, and i do not really want to replace the Mobo, and all the associated stuff. the other one has a good video card with 2 monitor ports, however, when i try to hook that monitor up to it, and 2 box on one computer, one of the accounts is sluggish as all get out.

Any suggestions on configuring it to make it run better so i do not have to rebuild the other?

Or is there a trick to 2boxing on one PC that i am missing.

well, depends on the specs. ram might help. increasing virt mem so your swap file is larger might help. toning down the graphics on your support toon would likely help.

Your PC is good enough for 2 boxing imo.But its not that good if you are running them with full options on.My suggestions are :

1) Only use 1024x768 and turn off most of the spelleffect/particla/sound,modify your clip plane a bit too,0 to 20% on the 2nd account.

2) Do not running too many other programs when playing EQ.I only have the firewall running if Im 2 boxing.

3) Download AntiVirus/Trojin and scan your harddrive. Some of them will slow your machine pretty badly.

4) Defrag Harddisk too.PC's performance changes significantly before and after.

5) Well,3rd party programs WinEQ 2.0 is a must-have if youre boxing.
