Unsure What to Do if I returnFollow

#1 May 14 2009 at 9:59 AM Rating: Decent
Hello All,

I have been immersed in World of Warcraft for the past two years or so. Good friend of mine who has been playing with me mentioned going back to Everquest, and I have been giving it considerable thought.

One of the things I am having an issue with is that before I quit I had 4 different accounts. I cannot really remember which characters are on which account, and not sure if there is any way for me to find out prior to paying the money to resubscribe to just find out that is not the account I want. Any idea's suggestions?

I was thinking about just going with the account that I have had the longest and starting a new character. From what I hear it is not that difficult anymore to acquire plat. Any info or suggestions would be wonderful.

I already have read over the thread about returning players, sounds interesting.

If you remember your account information for the 4 accounts, you can log into each one on eqplayers.com and you should be able to see which characters are on that particular account.

If you left the game installed you'll have an INI file for each character too, I believe. I'll have check from home.

I did not remember the INI part, thank you ever so much! Do you still need to have the same expansions on an account to transfer a character to it?

What would be even better if I could remember or find my INI file

Sorry, I forgot to look last night. You could do a search in the program directory (wherever it was installed) for your character's name, though. Search all files and folders.

Worth a try.

Probably easier to just go to the SOE web site and ask them, though.

You could try going to eqplayers and logging in with your different account names and checking the charcter list there to see what account each toon is on, that may work.

well if yah have 4 accounts still its great to make 4 new ones and using 2 slots on your group for mercs... SK , Bard , Rog/Zerk, Sham... 2 cle merc... that would be a great set up for anything... and if you are just thinking of getting a single account active it is still great with the new merc system lvling is not so hard like before
