log in troubleFollow

I recovered my old log in info today, course this was 2 months after getting a new account. When I tried to log in to my old account I got the pop up box at the server select screen that there was a char already logged in, did I want to boot that char, to which I replied yes. I then got a message saying that the request was denied because the char was actively playing. I have talked to SoE CSR 5 times today and the last of them told me to reboot my computer and unplug my router for a 1/2 hour. I can log in my new acct just fine but I was wondering if anyone had every run into this and how I might fix it.

Actually, that was the first thought, but SoE said that there was no active char logged in and claimed it was a "hardware" issue on my end.. That would be the problem
