Saturday & Sunday: I leveled my new cleric from level 5 to 50 solo like a madman. Tutorial to 10 < The Warrens to 17 < Stonebrunt Mountains to 29 < Crypt of Dalnir to 36 (xp here is awesome!) < Burning Woods undead camp to 50!

I used simple, rough and flawed defiant armor along the way. At 50 I deleted it and slipped into my nice set of casual omens armor I farmed with beasty.
I'm working on https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=32518 to bonk with. I'm not using a wand ewww.

Great EQ weekend.

Well, played alot but not much accomplished. Made a Beastlord and that city gives me a headache. Am doing the citizen quest and hopefully I can get what I need elsewhere, beautiful but I just have a hard time finding things in there.

A guildie gave me a pair of gnoll boots (they had looted 3 pairs along the way) so that was nice for my Ranger once the npc in POK did his thing. I bought a very good Tae Ew Sword also for my Ranger from another guildie for at least 25K less than in Bazaar. Trader did well and used most of my money in bank for a Gnollish Chain Helm, again for Ranger.

Did some exploring of old places like the Temple in Broodlands. Not many guildies on so good time to explore new and old places.

Very casual playing weekend, which was nice.

I remember Burning Woods, both my toons did a lot of grinding there plus quests.

Actually went to my first Serpents zone. Took my shaman warrior duo to the steppes. And we made 65 fairly easily. NIce zone, fun mobs.

Then took same duo to Farunbi ( sp?) to kill mob for my GOD spell. That was a serious old time dungeon crawl. Long corridors, most mobs well spaced, but random roamers, serious need to root or trains a coming. Neat fun.

Guild made a run to see if the Golems were up...they were not, so no Epic for Shammie...but was fun killing all those mobs. I am always amazed at the aggro range Fear mobs haveSmiley: dubious

No eq for me. Friday to Sunday I was working on the ship 9 AM to 6 PM. Friday to Sunday evening I was at COSTUMECON 27. Met some nice folks, got very snappish when dead tired. Argument with Elne Clare over her paying 350.00 for a corset. Watched her enter her first costume masquerade.

My last weekend for some unknown amount of time in EQ. :( Anyway, Friday I think it was, grabbed the costs for the Guild Tribute wiki page, and finished the basics of it up. Got some XP in Beza instance on the Tunare War, thanks much to Tihspir.

Saturday, was in various places, but most of the time, in CT either trying to find a group, or dieing soloing ... War needs more DPS, the Merc keeps running out of mana duo, but when Yther comes, I can handle 2 or 3, no problem, 'cause she's 2x the dps of me :( And both mercs, will still have 25% mana. I think she can duo there better, due to her dps. Raided with guild in Anguish, got my Legs T2 legs drop, and got the 3x blackened discordling tails in <1 hr at the task/blind camp in MPG. Was very happy it didn't take long to get the parts, as none were available in the bazaar, and no guildies that were on had any.

Sunday, same deal, but more time lfg than anything else, other than in the morning, I got a good group with Deathforjoo, and picked up a few more screenshots for the beastiary. Also checked my logs and found the melee effects for the mobs. And got the rest of the pieces I needed.

Gonna get some play time in tonight, since Band practice was cancelled again (second week in a row :( ), and since Tue is the last active day for account, iirc.

Oh, and it's been a great week and a half. Also, very happy about how the developers implemented the quested gear, making it lore, seems to have helped alot with camp fights and the like. I've even seen alot of /ooc on rotting No Trade loot, which is a great sign of cooperation.

Have fun everyone!

Yther Ore.
