Since our Euro posters are not playing a lot, once again I start the Thread. Hey its just what we former players of the week are called upon to do. ( That and it adds to my post count. )

Friday- Not a lot of eq. I did log onto cleric Segundo and dinged 64 along with 3 AA's in cod. Also used Druid and Ranger to do some of the Tunare fireworks quest. I had planned to buy a car, but it seems the title to car was in the brief case of one who was going to PA. for an auto auction. Set buy for Saturday instead.
Worked an overnight on the ship. Group was all adult, the event was bought for one of the men by his wife as a Christmas gift. Since he is related to a caoch for a major college Big Ten team they scheduled for spring. It was a lot of fun for me' I could do things that I just can't do with scout groups and schools.
Didnt get a lot of sleep however as the leg was cramping up from by doing a lot of standing.

Saturday. No eq. The overnight finished at 10 AM. I was supposed to buy the car after getting off, but now the owner of the dealership didn't like the idea of my putting the entire balance of the sale on my credit card. Told the salesman that I was downtown and no banks were open in the area so I couldnt meet the owners demand for a cashiers or credit card check. Also told him I would consider canceling the sale. Looking at car adds later I found a car with less milage than what I was going to buy. Thank you mr. dealer of New Market motors in Baltimore for refusing my offer!
Elne Clare and I went to friends for an overnight stay. She was the center of attention and enjoyed it greatly. It was a creation of plastic wrap, strawberries and whipped cream that had everyone drooling.

Sunday - Back in town had to go to work. Off at 4PM. I came home and checked messages/email and played a little Civ2. Went up for a 2 hour Nap. Came down and finished the tunare quest with ranger and druid. Fixed dinner played a bit more Civ2 and went to bed.

Well, soloed my Ranger in Greg's End for a bit on Saturday and some Wall of Slaughter and reason primarily is that I don't have most maps. We have downloaded more than once. Have a friend looking to it and another problem having with running the game. I had tried twice to get through to Stoneroot Forest or whatever it is called through Undershore and since no map except one I printed, I died by not knowing where to move safely. Undershore reminded me of Fungus Grove in a sense.

Yesterday was asked to be in a Guild group and they came and got me and off I went to The Steppes. We went to the next zone with the wolves and bears and then decided to do this quest and save someone from a well. Gees, we wiped at bottom of well, the Orcs hit so hard but everyone has a good attitude so we all had fun.

Getting used to headphones again for guild grouping. Haven't used them much at all in Wow. Got a level, had fun, visited a couple of the new zones. Not bad IMHO.

Vegged Saturday night an watched dumb SciFi movies which can be silly fun.

Friday - Not much EQ, way too much EVE

Saturday - Took Glitter & Maurasi to Stoneroot to find a spot where I can PL the 70s up or at least group & kill quietly. Found a place with a freakin' TON of witherans and was pleasantly surprised to find that Glitter could tank them in bunches while leaving the druid bored and the cleric mercs totally unnecessary. Made a note to go back with a lower level leech in group. Afterwards, went to throw some TS junk in the guild bank only to find it completely full. Between powersources, food, drink, spells, and potions, there's no room left for anything else. Guess I'll have to put Reiseviel up for a few days.

Sunday - Went back with a 67 (Reis) and a 71 and gauged the xp in Stoneroot. Ran Maurasi around looking for fabled we could take down. Played lots of EVE, and a little Runes of Magic & Atlantica before hitting the proverbial sack.

No EQ last week(end), or the week before. Work is way too time consuming and private life is way too important at the moment.

And the strange thing is, I don't miss EQ as much as I thought I would...

Download the maps one by one as you need them from EQMAPFIEND, their zip / compressed file is not reliable and often contains blank maps that are available individually.

Friday - raided some fabled minis
Saturday - lots of time inside Mechamatic Guardian getting people the clicky portals and hoping for the ultra-rare shrink item.
The upper floors aren't mapped so it's been quite an adventure.
At night we raided more fableds in Reef of Cornaiv where we killed everything except the big one, he kicked our butts.
Got revenge later with the Fabled Avatar of Earth who dropped another sweet 1hs sword.
Sunday - got a pair of tasks done for the face augment and later realized I was only missing one task / piece.
Did the Supplies for Spies task solo (ok molo.... solo with merc) and finally finished it.
At night we had a fairly long xp run in Gyrospire Beza and I got to group with some guildies I rarely see because of diff play times.
All in all a good weekend.

Returning Player Alert!!! Returning Player Alert!!!

Came back after a few years off and decided to roll a new Berserker on Stromm. Upgraded to latest release to see just how good these mercenaries were. Made my character on Saturday afternoon and with off and on playtime totaling around 9 hours in game....have leveled him from 1 - 35 already. It is amazing. It is great to see the older content that brings back such good memories. Congrats to all those above accomplishing some goals!

We killed Coirnav over the weekend. He poofed upon death, spawned a clone and banished us all. He's not an octupus, he's a giant bug.

Well, here is the saga on the maps. Many of them when we have downloaded the package at Map Fiend have 0 bytes. We have tried several different things. So really not an excuse. I run Vista 64 though doubt that is problem but could be. Some maps are there others listed with not bytes. We keep plotting along on all this and it will get done. I am not a computer whiz, so rely on others for these things. Trust me wish I had the maps.

ahhh just read the other message on maps. well, will take a long time but maybe that would work. I can print out the ones with 0 bytes and then download those individually.

Thanks
