Ok I didnt start the thread yesterday morning thinking someone else would.
Friday I had the day off, spent some time in game, but more time worrying about my brother who was on life support in a Ga. hospital. Read some off the new "Honorverse" novel Storm from the Shadows by David Weber. Cried, packed for a trip if I needed to go down when the machines were turned off. Made some potions on my shaman and did laundry. Decision was made late in the day that my nephews and ex sister in law would meet at the hospital on Saturday so they could make the final decision to stop ventilation.
Sat. Work on the ship. My brother's life support was turned off at 11 AM. I took over the firing of the Noon gun on the ship, maybe had a little extra powder charge then normal in the cartridge. (My brother did do black powder shooting/hunting for a time.)
Did a tour for young visitors, folks on it liked it enough to give a nice tip.
I was at the security desk at 3:30 when I got the call from family that. my brother had died. Here's to you Gregory John, may you have been dead and in heaven half an hour before the devil knew you were gone.
Didn't really play eq. Elne Clare and I watched Price Caspian on dvd.
Sunday Work on the ship in the AM. Did the noon firing again. Switched over to the light house in the afternoon. Received a very nice compliment from two visitor on how well I answered their questions.
Played some eq. Farming spiderlign silks in shroud form. Helping a member of Lucky Insane pick up fabled j boots for her 3 toons. Took my 35 druid to nons only to see all the mobs are dark blue to red when I pop track.
Monday more farming silks, shaman in cod, reading and sleeping.
