Ok I didnt start the thread yesterday morning thinking someone else would.

Friday I had the day off, spent some time in game, but more time worrying about my brother who was on life support in a Ga. hospital. Read some off the new "Honorverse" novel Storm from the Shadows by David Weber. Cried, packed for a trip if I needed to go down when the machines were turned off. Made some potions on my shaman and did laundry. Decision was made late in the day that my nephews and ex sister in law would meet at the hospital on Saturday so they could make the final decision to stop ventilation.

Sat. Work on the ship. My brother's life support was turned off at 11 AM. I took over the firing of the Noon gun on the ship, maybe had a little extra powder charge then normal in the cartridge. (My brother did do black powder shooting/hunting for a time.)
Did a tour for young visitors, folks on it liked it enough to give a nice tip.
I was at the security desk at 3:30 when I got the call from family that. my brother had died. Here's to you Gregory John, may you have been dead and in heaven half an hour before the devil knew you were gone.
Didn't really play eq. Elne Clare and I watched Price Caspian on dvd.

Sunday Work on the ship in the AM. Did the noon firing again. Switched over to the light house in the afternoon. Received a very nice compliment from two visitor on how well I answered their questions.
Played some eq. Farming spiderlign silks in shroud form. Helping a member of Lucky Insane pick up fabled j boots for her 3 toons. Took my 35 druid to nons only to see all the mobs are dark blue to red when I pop track.

Monday more farming silks, shaman in cod, reading and sleeping.

Was out of town over the weekend. Came back to a hot water heater leak. So no EQ.

Nice send off for your brother Jonwin.

Saturday: I was in the deep for https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=8141 for my new SK. I met a 55 mage returning to game. I PLed the mage while working for the belt.

Sunday: The belt finally dropped. I invited the mage to hit harbinger's spire with me as I hunted for the plate chest piece. Collecting the breastplate, we moved to the bloodfields and collected the plate legs. We then hit chardok b for the plate wrist. The mage hit level 60.

I'm now on the road to 55 with SK to start on AAs. I'm trying to enjoy the lower content without level level level on the brain.

Did the kunark collection quest, got fabled fire idol, fabled bag of sewn evil eye, and got fabled pegasus cloak last night. Attempted fabled jopal in fire twice with just me (75 war) and merc and got my **** handed to me both times.

Probably do the PoP collection quest tonight for the brick of knowlege.

Got shaman and warrior to 62 in COD...grouped with a rogue and necro. Needless to say, we killed things there very quickly.

Took warrior to Guk to get Fabled Ghoulbane for Paladin and I walk into the room and he was upSmiley: laughPali has nice new weapon.

Boxing him with a ranger, which made me think how the merc's have allowed me to work combination's that I never would have tried before. I have a 57 rogue and a 56 Monk that I box now, and hunting with them is fun. But without merc's, that combo would be REALLY hard to make work.

Anyway, really loving FV. Smiley: nod Great server, great people.

No EQ for me for the next month or so. Was going to renew, but some **** happened(personal crap and money crap) and while I had planned to buy the latest expansion, I thought 39.99 was a little much when you consider that it seems to offer(based on what I read) all the expansions up to that one...I just need that one. It didn't help my confusion that it was insisting that I did not have OoW, DoN, DoD, TBS, or TSS...even though I do...

So yeah, no EQ for at least 2 weeks Smiley: frown

Jon, I'm so sorry to hear about your brother. My deepest condolances to you and your family.

I haven't been playing hardly at all lately. Hubby took a bit of a turn for the worse from his car accident a few weeks ago so I've been busy taking care of him. I won't be playing much until he's doing better.

If I do get a change to log in for a bit, I'm going to try and get the fabled pet weapon for my zerker.

I haven't played much myself lately. Been too depressed with how things are changing with the money situation. I've logged in twice this week to say hi to people and just sit around and chat. Other than that, do a couple Fabled quests. I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I didn't have such wonderful friends in my guild.

First things first. I am very sorry to hear about your brother Jonwin. I don't post much anymore, but have allways read anything that you post and feel that in some way I know you.

I don't think I have ever posted to a weekend update before. I spent last week and so far this week working on the Bayles Crest aug with the wife - we both 2 box. We now have only 5 more tasks to complete for the aug and hope to have it by the week-end. We tend to play about 4 hours every night and, if not out of town on weekends, about 12 hours over the week-end. About the same amount of time other folks spend watching TV.

And is everyone an administrator these days - looks like it is getting to that point looking at this thread.

Dyciere - 85 Warrior
Seldane - 85 Wizard
And mor alts than I care to admit to. (7 Accounts)

Thanks eagle.
That said necroposting a weekend update can be a bad thing. (But I think it was nice to do it. )
